Lahore (PR) Islamic scholar Dr. Saadat Ali Asad, who has rendered excellent services to Sufism, was elected as the central president of Sufi Majlis Amal in a meeting of the organization chaired by Chairman of Sufi Majlis Amal Pir Mahmood Fariduddin.
Expressing his confidence, the head of Pakistan Pir Mahmood Fariduddin said that Dr. Saadat Ali Asad will play an active role from the platform of Sufi Majlis-e-Amal to end the extremist thinking of Sufis in Pakistan and to promote peace and brotherhood.
With the Sufi Majlis Aam, the country will fight for the stability of Pakistan and will reveal the teachings of the saints. The thinking of Sufi and Quranic teachings will highlight the thought of love and tolerance in Pakistan.
