Lahore: On the occasion of World Humanitarian Day, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz underscored the government’s commitment to prioritizing education, health, and welfare projects as a means of serving the public. In her message, she expressed deep respect and admiration for those dedicated to humanitarian work across the globe, highlighting that such efforts are crucial for advancing societies.

Maryam Nawaz stated, “I extend my greetings and tribute to those who serve humanity worldwide. The great purpose of serving humanity propels nations towards development.” She emphasized that service to humanity is considered an act of worship and central to the government’s agenda.

To demonstrate this commitment, Maryam Nawaz announced the launch of Pakistan’s first air ambulance project. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance healthcare accessibility. The Chief Minister revealed that the government has initiated the upgrading of hospitals and health centers. In addition to this, field hospitals, mobile clinics, and free medicine delivery services are being introduced to ensure that medical aid reaches people at their doorsteps.

Furthermore, Maryam Nawaz highlighted the deployment of Rescue 1122 services on motorways to provide timely assistance in emergencies. She expressed the desire to build a society where every individual can live with dignity and respect. “Be servants of humanity and assist those in need, as it is both a duty and a tradition,” she urged.

The Chief Minister also referenced the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), emphasizing that serving humanity is not only a moral obligation but also aligns with divine approval.
