Shalimar Express Involved in Accident Near Shaheed Benazirabad

Lahore: The Shalimar Express, traveling from Karachi to Lahore, was involved in an accident near Shaheed Benazirabad. The train collided with a truck carrying gravel at a railway crossing. Fortunately, there were no fatalities in the incident.
The accident occurred near the Talpur crossing, close to the Nawabshah vegetable market, when the Shalimar Express struck the gravel truck at the railway crossing. Both the train and the truck sustained damage, but fortunately, there were no deaths. One person was reported injured.
Due to the collision, the up-track has been temporarily closed, and rescue operations are underway to remove the debris. Railway authorities have begun an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. All passengers and crew aboard the Shalimar Express are reported to be safe and unharmed.
