All Terrorists from Afghanistan Killed in Tirah Valley: Reports

Rawalpindi: Pakistani security forces have successfully neutralized all dangerous terrorists who infiltrated Tirah Valley from Afghanistan. According to reports from private television channels, the Pakistani security forces have been actively engaged in combating the insurgents, including the notorious groups such as Lashkar-e-Islam and Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, who crossed into Pakistan from Afghanistan.

Sources reveal that operations against the foreign terrorists began on August 20, 2024. The intelligence-based operations led to significant successes, with security forces eliminating members of the extremist group Fitan al-Khawarij. Notably, among those killed was Abu Zar alias Saddam, a prominent leader of the Fitan al-Khawarij.

According to the Brigade Commander of the Frontier Corps, the terrorists entered Tirah Valley via the Koh-e-Safid route from Afghanistan. The Pakistan Army’s Special Services Group (SSG) was assigned the mission of clearing the valley of terrorists due to the increasing number of insurgents in the region.

The SSG Brigade Commander stated that a coordinated strategy was employed to minimize both civilian and military casualties while maximizing damage to the enemy. The bravery of the troops led to substantial losses for the terrorists, and the high-ranking leadership of the extremists was eliminated.

The Platoon Commander remarked that the operations inflicted heavy damage on the enemy and attributed their success to the grace of Allah, the support of the nation’s prayers, and the enthusiasm of the troops. The security forces remain committed to protecting the lives and property of the public and will continue their pursuit until the last terrorist is removed.
