Faisalabad Board Reschedules Class Ninth Exams Due to Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi Holidays

Exams to Be Held on September 19 Instead of September 17

Mekwanah – The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Faisalabad has announced a rescheduling of the Class Ninth exams originally set for September 17. Due to the public holiday for Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi on September 17, the exams will now be held on September 19.

According to Muhammad Jaffar Ali, Controller of Examinations at the Faisalabad Board, the initial schedule had the Class Ninth exams for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part II under the Faisalabad Board planned as follows: the Education paper for Group I was set for September 17 at 9:00 AM, and for Group II at 2:00 PM the same day. Additionally, the papers on History of Pakistan and Islamic History were also scheduled for September 17.

However, since September 17 is a public holiday across the country for Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the new schedule has been adjusted. The Education paper will now be conducted on September 19, with Group I at 9:00 AM and Group II at 2:00 PM. Similarly, the papers on History of Pakistan and Islamic History will be held on the same day, September 19, following the same timings.

The Faisalabad Board has notified all relevant parties about the rescheduling of these exams due to the Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi holiday. Private candidates can download the revised roll number slips from the Faisalabad Board’s official website, www.bisefsd.edu.pk. These updated slips will be accepted at examination centers. Other candidates should obtain new roll number slips from their respective institutions, although the old slips will also be valid.
