Exemplary Conduct of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ a Guiding Light for Humanity: Ulma Council
Maulana Zahid Mahmood Qasmi: Decline of the Muslim Ummah Due to Distance from True Teachings of the Prophet ﷺ
Lahore – Chairman of the Central Ulema Council Pakistan, Sahibzada Maulana Zahid Mahmood Qasmi, has stated that the exemplary conduct of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ serves as a guiding light for humanity. He emphasized that the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal teaches us to promote peace and love while rejecting extremism. The decline of the Muslim Ummah is attributed to the distancing from the true teachings of the Mercy to the Worlds ﷺ.
Maulana Qasmi made these remarks while addressing various delegations at the Khatm-e-Nabuwat Islamic Research Centre. The meeting was attended by prominent figures including Maulana Muhammad Mushtaq Lahori, Maulana Hafiz Abu Sufyan Hanfi, Maulana Muhammad Shoaib Siddiqi, Maulana Samiullah Rubani, Maulana Habib-ur-Rehman Zia, Maulana Muhammad Azam Farooq, Maulana Muzaffar Hamid Watoo, Maulana Muhammad Amir Ashraf, and Barrister Muhammad Afzal Sara.
Maulana Qasmi highlighted that the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal reminds us that by adhering to the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ, Muslims, particularly in Pakistan, can regain their lost status in the world. He underscored that as long as the Muslim Ummah remains connected to the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ, Muslims had dominance over the world.
