Dengue Strikes Continue in Punjab, 36 New Cases Reported

Rawalpindi reported the highest number of new cases: Health Department

Lahore – The dengue outbreak in Punjab shows no signs of abating, with 36 new cases reported in the past 24 hours. The Health Department spokesperson revealed that Rawalpindi reported the highest number of new cases, totaling 30.

Additionally, Lahore and Bahawalpur each recorded two new cases, while Gujranwala and Faisalabad each reported one case.

The spokesperson highlighted that over the past week, 237 new dengue cases have emerged, bringing the total number of cases reported this year to 703.

The ongoing situation underscores the need for continued vigilance and effective mosquito control measures.
