Government Schools Restricted from Using Non-Salary Budget
LAHORE – The government has prohibited outsourcing Phase One schools from utilizing their non-salary budgets. A total of 5,863 public schools will operate under a private-public partnership model in this phase. The School Education Department has sent a circular to all education authorities clarifying that outsourced schools are not permitted to spend this budget.
According to the department, the performance of these outsourced schools will be closely monitored. Following the evaluation of their results, a third-party validation will be conducted to assess their effectiveness. Based on this validation, decisions will be made regarding the allocation of non-salary budgets.
This initiative aims to enhance accountability and ensure that resources are used effectively in the education sector.
