Obedience to the Prophet is Essential for Intercession on the Day of Judgment
Unity Under the Banner of Prophethood to Seek Allah's Mercy
SARGODHA – In a recent address, Allama Ataullah Bandiyaalwi, Vice Amir of the Jamaat Ashaat al-Tawheed wal-Sunnah Punjab, emphasized that intercession on the Day of Judgment is not possible without obedience to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He urged the community to unite under the banner of Prophethood and to act in accordance with the teachings and traditions of the Prophet to benefit from Allah’s mercy and blessings.
During a meeting held at Jamia Muawiya, which focused on social reform and responsibility, Bandiyaalwi, along with other scholars, stressed the importance of abandoning traditional un-Islamic practices. They called on Muslims to promote Islamic teachings actively, particularly among the youth, so that they can stand with the Prophet and his companions on the Day of Judgment.
Bandiyaalwi highlighted the crucial role of scholars in eliminating polytheism and innovations through their teachings. He encouraged them to continue highlighting the greatness of the Prophet and the importance of monotheism and the finality of Prophethood, ensuring success in this world and the Hereafter.
He praised the efforts of Jamaat Ashaat al-Tawheed wal-Sunnah for its 56-year commitment to spreading the teachings of the Quran and combating shirk (associating partners with Allah) and bid’ah (innovations in religion). He noted that 80% of the mosques in the city feature scholars promoting the concept of Tawheed (monotheism), fulfilling their religious duties.
The conference concluded with prayers for the stability and unity of the country, emphasizing the need for a collective commitment to the teachings of Islam and adherence to the Shariah in honor of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
