Motorcycle Thief Gang Leader Arrested, 40 Stolen Bikes Recovered
Kasur: Police have arrested the leader of a motorcycle theft gang, recovering 40 stolen motorcycles in the operation.
Under the leadership of DPO Kasur, the Allahabad police conducted a significant raid, resulting in the arrest of the gang leader identified as Ikhtiar, son of Tufail, a resident of Allahabad.
The arrested individual was found in possession of over 40 motorcycles stolen from various locations across the city. Ikhtiar was known for stealing motorcycles outside shops, homes, wedding halls, and schools in the main market area of Allahabad.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the gang had committed over 50 thefts in and around Allahabad. Further inquiries are ongoing to uncover additional details about the gang’s activities.
Following the directives of DPO Kasur Muhammad Isa Khan, a special campaign is currently underway throughout the district to tackle motorcycle theft gangs and recover stolen motorcycles. Authorities are determined to enhance security measures and reduce theft incidents in the region.
