Beirut: Israel’s brutal bombardment of Lebanon has resulted in over 570 fatalities, with more than 1,800 individuals injured. The Israeli military has unleashed thousands of missiles on civilian populations in Lebanon, leading to widespread devastation. Notably, Hezbollah’s key commander, Ibrahim Qabisi, was killed in the attacks on Beirut.
In the face of escalating violence, hundreds of Lebanese citizens have been forced to evacuate their homes. Educational institutions across Lebanon have been closed for a week as a precautionary measure. In response, Hezbollah has launched over 300 rockets at Israeli military targets, claiming to retaliate against the aggression.
In light of the situation, the United States, China, and the United Kingdom have advised their citizens to leave Lebanon. Several airlines have suspended flights between Tel Aviv and Beirut, further complicating evacuation efforts.
Lebanese Foreign Minister has emphasized the crucial role of the U.S. in ensuring Lebanon’s safety, stating that despite past disappointments, American assistance is essential. He warned that the ongoing conflict would not aid the return of Israelis to their homes.
