Iran Warns Against Indifference in Case of Full-Scale War in Lebanon

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has issued a stern warning, stating that if a complete war breaks out in Lebanon, Iran cannot remain indifferent. He emphasized that the United Nations Security Council must intervene to restore peace and security in the region.

Araghchi expressed concern that the region is on the brink of large-scale conflict, pointing out that Israel has crossed all red lines. He urged Israeli leadership to recognize that they will face consequences for their actions, reiterating Iran’s support for Hezbollah in defending against Israeli aggression and occupation in Lebanon.

In response, the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations stated that Israel prioritizes diplomacy in Lebanon. He noted that if Hezbollah ceases its actions, Israel will also halt its military operations. However, he warned that if diplomatic efforts fail, Israel would utilize all available means.

This exchange highlights the escalating tensions in the region, with both Iran and Israel poised for potential conflict. The situation remains fluid, and the international community is urged to closely monitor developments.
