Iran Lifts Air Travel Restrictions
Tehran: Iran has officially lifted its air travel restrictions that were previously imposed within the country.
According to foreign media reports, the Iranian Civil Aviation Authority announced that the situation has normalized, allowing for the resumption of air travel. They declared the air travel environment safe, leading to the removal of travel bans.
Earlier, the spokesperson for the Iranian Civil Aviation Authority had stated that all flights were canceled until 9 PM on Monday. However, following assurances of improved conditions and safety for air travel, the authority confirmed that airlines could now resume their operations.
Prior to this, airlines in Iran were ordered to halt operations without any detailed explanation. Media reports suggested that the flight operations were suspended following missile strikes against Israel.
The lifting of these restrictions marks a significant step towards normalizing air travel in the region, facilitating connectivity for both domestic and international flights.
