Punjab Information Minister Criticizes Gundapur’s Claims

Lahore: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari has dismissed Ali Amin Gundapur’s recent statements, stating that even the supporters of the ruling party, known as “Yuthiyas,” do not believe his “flop script” and fabricated story. Bukhari accused Gundapur, who she referred to as a partner in the so-called “Gang of Black Thieves,” of trying unsuccessfully to portray himself as a victim among party workers.

Bukhari Defends Nawaz Sharif’s Leadership

Bukhari emphasized that Gundapur’s leader is currently in jail, consumed by hatred for Nawaz Sharif. She pointed out that Nawaz Sharif’s brother, Shehbaz Sharif, is the Prime Minister, and his daughter, Maryam Nawaz, serves as the Chief Minister of Punjab. She hailed Nawaz Sharif as a national leader who has always prioritized the country’s development, asserting that whenever his government has been in power, the nation has thrived.

Call for Focus on Provincial Governance

Responding to Gundapur’s remarks, Bukhari remarked, “You are like a frog in a well, unwilling to venture out.” She criticized the current government for failing to provide basic facilities to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, urging them to focus on improving their province rather than attacking Punjab and the federal government.

Bukhari concluded by stating that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa did not vote for them to act as bullies towards other provinces. “If you cannot govern your province, then step aside,” she advised.
