Saba Qamar is Pakistan’s Michael Jackson, says Nimra Shahid

“I am a huge fan of Michael Jackson; I even cried after watching the biopic on the King of Pop,” says the actress

Karachi: Actress Nimra Shahid has said that she believes the kind of quality work Saba Qamar is doing is unmatched, adding that “she is the Michael Jackson of Pakistan.”

According to details, the recently released biopic Michael, which portrays the life and struggles of the King of Pop Michael Jackson, has been making headlines worldwide. The legendary artist also has a strong fan base in Pakistan, and actress Nimra Shahid is one of his admirers.

Nimra Shahid, who recently appeared as Noor Bhari in the drama Ek Aur Pakiza, spoke about the film in an interview. She shared that she is a huge fan of Michael Jackson and was moved to tears after watching the biopic.

She also praised Michael Jackson’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson, saying that he portrayed the role beautifully. She noted that it took him two years to transform into Michael Jackson, adding that “this is what true artistry looks like—only a dedicated artist could have performed this role.”

When asked whether she would like to act in a biopic of any artist, Nimra said she would love to portray Saba Qamar.

“I would like to do a biopic on Saba Qamar. She is not only a beautiful actress but also an extraordinary performer. I feel that the kind of high-quality work she is doing is something very few can achieve,” she said.

She concluded by saying, “We simply don’t have another artist like Saba—she is the Michael Jackson of Pakistan.”
