US officials should stop issuing military threats to the region, says Iranian President

“We Muslims have already bowed before God; no one else can make us bow,” he says

Washington: Following US demands for Iran to surrender, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that “we Muslims have already bowed before God; no one else can make us bow.”

During talks with the Iraqi Prime Minister, the Iranian president emphasized the need for US officials to stop issuing military threats to the region.

In a separate statement, Pezeshkian said that power without morality is hollow. He added that today’s world is marked by chaos, oppression, injustice, and lawlessness, which he attributed to reducing politics to mere power.

He further said that Iran presents itself as a moral and responsible power, while its opponents represent reckless and irresponsible forces.
