UAE calls Iran an aggressor and a threat to peace
Airspace partially closed following attack on Fujairah

Tehran: Following an attack on Fujairah, the United Arab Emirates has labeled Iran an aggressor and responsible for escalating the crisis, and has partially closed its airspace.
UAE officials said that missile and drone launches from Iran had occurred previously as well, and that Monday’s attacks caused fires in an oil zone. Presidential adviser Anwar Gargash stated that condemnation from Gulf, Arab, and international communities supports the UAE’s position.
According to a British broadcaster, an Arab League assistant secretary-general said Iran’s actions are jeopardizing a fragile ceasefire.
Additionally, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman contacted UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to condemn the Fujairah attack and expressed support for Pakistan’s mediation efforts.
