Pluckley in Kent is a traditional village, but it is also considered to be the most haunted area in the UK.
The village is a 90-minute drive from London and was named Britain’s most haunted village in 1989 by the Guinness Book of Records.
This is because there are 12 or more ghosts that scare people.
It is no longer officially recognized as Britain’s most haunted village as the Guinness World Records no longer holds the title, but ghost sightings are still reported there.
The most famous of these ghosts is that of the Red Lady, a member of the Dering family.
It is said that this ghost is seen roaming the cemetery to find the grave of his child.
The ghost of another woman belonging to the same family also haunts the same cemetery known as the White Lady.
People do not know anything about this woman and she is called the White Lady because of her white dress.
