Domestic Cricketers’ Salaries Receive Surprising Increase
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced increased salaries and match fees for domestic players
Lahore (Monitoring Desk): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a significant increase in salaries for domestic cricketers. The new pay structure provides ₹200,000 for red-ball cricket, ₹125,000 for the 50-over format, and ₹100,000 for T20 cricket.
Recently, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced increased salaries and match fees for domestic players. In addition to central contract players, 150 cricketers who have performed in various events over the past three years will also be eligible to participate in these tournaments.
Previously, domestic cricketers received salaries ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹300,000 depending on their category. The new match fees represent a substantial rise from last season, where red-ball cricket players received ₹80,000 and white-ball cricketers ₹40,000 per match.
