Akshay played a prank on her that caused her significant anxiety
Mumbai: Actress Jacqueline Fernandez has revealed that a prank by actor Akshay Kumar during the shoot of Housefull left her frightened.
She made the disclosure during the final episode of Akshay Kumar’s reality show Wheel of Fortune, which also featured director Farah Khan and actress Bhumi Pednekar.
Jacqueline said that her first item song “Dhanno” was filmed during Housefull, and during that time Akshay played a prank on her that caused her significant anxiety.
“He made me believe that the police had come to arrest me. I was scared throughout the shoot,” she said, adding that the experience left a strong impression on her.
Akshay Kumar later clarified the situation in a light-hearted manner, joking that the prank was related to visa concerns at the time. He also apologised for the misunderstanding.
Bhumi Pednekar also recalled a separate prank during the shoot of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, saying that Akshay once made her ride a motorcycle at high speed as part of a joke.
Director Farah Khan added humorously that working with Akshay in films like Tees Maar Khan and Joker itself felt like a continuous prank experience.
