Decision on war with Iran is above my pay grade, says US military chief

“Iran’s command and control structure has deteriorated,” he says

Washington: Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Caine, said that determining the red line for resuming war with Iran is “above my pay grade.”

According to international media, he described the current situation as a “low-level fire,” adding that Iran appears to be making limited efforts in the southern region.

He claimed that Iran’s command and control structure has weakened and that the country is struggling to sustain itself.

Meanwhile, the spiritual leader of Catholics, Pope Leo, said he aims to spread the message of Christianity through dialogue on peace, while acknowledging that people are free to criticize him.

Responding to recent criticism from President Trump, Pope Leo said the Church’s mission is to promote the Gospel and peace, and expressed hope that his message would also be heard.
